KIDNEY ONE —> YONGQUAN (YONG-KWON)

Kidney Channel:

This channel begins beneath the little toe and traverses up the inner leg and torso ending just below the collar bone just off the midline of the chest.

Location: On the sole of the foot, between the second and third metatarsal bones about 1/3 the distance between the base of the second toe and the heel.


ACTIONS:

  1. Descends any type of excess from the head

  2. Calms the Spirit

  3. Rescues Yang (energy)


INDICATIONS:

—> Loss of consciousness from epilepsy, stroke, or hypertension

—> Vertex (top of the head) headaches

—> Painful throat, inability to swallow, loss of voice, and dry mouth

—> Insomnia with agitation, poor memory, and rage

—> Cough and shortness of breath

—> Constipation

—> Lumbar pain or pain in the lower abdomen

—> Infertility or impotence

—> Lower limb paralysis, leg pain and swelling or heat in the soles of the feet

—> Tinnitus or hearing loss

METHOD:

Find the point on your body and massage in a clockwise direction for 10-15 seconds. Take a big deep breath. Then massage in a counterclockwise direction for 10-15 seconds. Repeat these steps for 5-10 minutes, or until you begin to feel better.
